  The Surface of Media Ethics      Ethics in media is very important as well as very tricky to describe as the aspects of it can vary in different situations. " Media ethics  promotes and defends values such as universal respect for life and the rule of law and legality; media ethics defines and deals with ethical questions about how media should use texts and pictures provided by the citizens." Overall the final decision going into these decisions in the media is based on ethical and professional codes. Common things that get confused as ethics are feelings, religion, and law.                                         Did Apple Computers get away with too much?        In 1967 the multimedia record company founded by The Beatles Apple Corp was founded, and in 1976 the company Apple Computers was launched. Two years later, after the launch of Apple Computer's The Beatles record label sued Apple Computers for  trademark infringement . The Beatle's main argument was that the two logos and company names were too similar and that they would easily get mistaken for one another. Is Johnny Depp able to beat abuse allegations?      Throughout the many years of Hollywood, there have been many instances where slander or libel things have been done to either hurt or demonetize someone's reputation. The infamous  case  that will be highlighted today involves Johnny Depp and his ex-wife Amber Heard. It was first reported in early 2016 that Amber Heard filed a restraining order against Depp. As she was leaving the court, she said that she had been attacked and had objects thrown at her, resulting in bruising. Soon after, the restraining order was valid, and soon after, they got divorced. Johnny Depp was quick to deny the allegations that were set against him soon. Johnny Depp was in court in 2020, saying  libel  action was needed. Under  FOIA  (Freedom of Information Act), defamation falls under Libel, which is why Jonny Depp was going to court.
